Why We Started Namastey
Bringing a piece of India into your home — with heart, heritage, and purpose.
Namastey began with a simple idea - to share the soul of India’s artistry with homes across Australia.
When I (Akarshak) moved here, I missed the warmth and character of Indian craftsmanship, those handmade pieces that make a home feel alive. My wife, Kanika, often reminded me how every handcrafted jug, spice box, or handpainted kettles in our home carried a story - of family, artistry, and tradition. That feeling became the heart of Namastey.
What started with exquisite copper, brass, and bronze treasures has grown into a celebration of India’s diverse craftsmanship — from handpainted tea kettles to timeless home accents, and soon, even more handmade wonders crafted with care.
Each piece is brought to life by skilled Indian artisans using sustainable materials and traditional techniques passed down for generations. Our mission is simple: to preserve India’s artistic heritage, empower its makers, and help you bring warmth, meaning, and beauty into your modern home.
From India’s artisans to your Australian home — handcrafted with soul, made to last for generations.Customer's Gallery
