Yes. The ghee kalash and the three serving spoons are bronze (Kansa), a naturally food-safe alloy used in Indian kitchens for centuries. The brass bowls are tin-lined on the inside using Kalai, a traditional Indian technique that makes them food-safe. The carved spoons are bare brass, which is fine for regular eating; just avoid leaving them in acidic foods (tomato, tamarind, citrus) for extended periods.

• 1 x Bronze Ghee Kalash with lid (4.5 inch diameter x 4.5 inch height)
• 4 x Handcrafted, Tin-Lined Brass Bowls
• 4 x Decorative Brass Spoons
• 3 x Kansa Bronze Serving Spoons: rice spoon (22cm), curry spoon (24cm) and egg spoon (28cm)
• Handmade, so slight variation between pieces is normal, not a flaw
• Props shown in photos (food, linen, eucalyptus, basket) are for styling only and are not included

• Handwash with mild soap and a soft sponge, no dishwasher or abrasive scrubbers
• Dry immediately with a soft cloth to prevent water spots and tarnish, and make sure the inside of the kalash is completely dry before refilling
• To restore shine, polish with lemon juice and salt or a little tamarind paste, then rinse and dry
• A natural patina will develop over time. That's the character of real brass and bronze, not a flaw
